The 35th Sailing Yacht of Perini's fleet and its new imposing production plan
Perini Navi, world leader in the construction of sailing yachts presents – in world premiere at the Monaco Yacht Show – its latest creation: the SY Parsifal III, a 54 meter aluminium ketch.
Designed by Perini Navi in collaboration with Ron Holland, Parsifal III inaugurates a new all-aluminium hull concept, light and fast through the water thanks also to her fixed bulb-keel and the midship engine room. Carbon fibre masts and in-boom furling support nearly 2000 square meters of sail. The extremely refined interiors, created by the young French designer Remi Tessier, combine modernity and luxury with an elegant setting of ebony, wengé and stainless steel.
Parsifal III is the 35th member of the Perini Navi fleet - in continuing expansion. Giancarlo Ragnetti, CEO of Perini Navi, recently announced the new corporate production plan resulting from continuous Design and Production Development, accompanied by a successful sales strategy.
With 7 newbuilding contracts signed in the past 12 months, Perini Navi’s current production comprises all-alloy new builds: two 56 metre ketches, a 56 metre sloop, a 50 metre ketch; and steel-hulled newbuilds: two 45 metre sloops, a 52 metre ketch and the 87 metre Clipper Maltese Falcon – with deliveries spread through to summer 2008.
