Perini Navi Group

The Perini Navi Group is operative in the superyacht sector under two specific brand names: Perini Navi for its sail boat division and Picchiotti for its motor yacht division. 

Today the Group, which was founded in 1983 as Perini Navi and produced sailing yachts, is composed of four companies bought over time and acquired with the objective of maximising production capacity and entering new market segments. Picchiotti, for example, was acquired to allow the Group to enter the motor yacht sector. Today the Perini Navi Group is operative in five specific market sectors:

• Large sailing yachts that range from 40 to 60 metres
• Large sailing yachts over 60 meters and custom projects
• A Racing Line of sailing yachts 
• A Fast Cruising line of sailing yachts
• Picchiotti motor yachts from the Vitruvius® series

Perini Navi, Viareggio (1983). The Group’s base and central offices are located in its shipyard in Viareggio, Italy. Here all Perini Navi brand sailing yacht projects are draw, developed and constructed.
 

Cantiere Picchiotti, La Spezia (1600). The Picchiotti Vitruvius® series of motor yachts is constructed in La Spezia, Italy. The shipyard has three 70 mt hangars, two travel lifts of 820 and 260 tonnes respectively for large yachts, and two 50 metre piers in a total work area of 32.000 sq mt.
 

Perini Istanbul, Yildiz – Turkey (1987). Located in the industrial area Tuzla-Istanbul, Turkey, this is the Group’s metal working division. With a waterfront of 42.000 sq mt this is an ideal space for the construction of the hulls and superstructures for the Group’s motor and sailing yachts. Recent investments in the Yildiz shipyard have now made it capable of producing entire special projects such as the S/Y The Maltese Falcon.
 

Perini Navi USA, Newport, Rhode Island (1997). This is the Group’s commercial structure where two strategically important services are offered: chartering services for Perini Navi Group owners wishing to charter their yachts and brokerage services for those wishing to buy or sell.
