S/Y 36m GITANA
Project Description
The Yacht
Fabio Perini’s first design for himself after the first Felicita, with an unprecedented focus on outdoor life and a pioneering use of 24v batteries for silent mode, thirty years ahead of its time. The cockpit on Gitana was designed to accommodate a cocktail party for fifty, or a seated dinner for 12. The recessed half deck pilot house was also extended compared to the 25m to accommodate a lounge area. The iconic design of Gitana brought it to the attention of a Hollywood director who then wanted it for the film “Hitch”.
