Balance Under Sail
Delivered in 2005, S/Y Parsifal III represents a mature expression of the Perini Navi sailing philosophy. Commissioned by a Danish owner and conceived for true sailing performance, she features a fixed keel and a centrally positioned engine room to optimise balance and weight distribution under sail.
Her open main deck is designed as a continuous exterior platform in direct dialogue with the sea, while the interiors by Rémi Tessier introduce flowing curved lines that soften the yacht’s architectural volumes.
As in the shipyard’s most accomplished projects, technology serves navigation rather than replacing it: a large sailing yacht intended to be handled with precision while preserving the physical experience of sailing.
DESIGN IDENTITY
Power. Composure. Equilibrium.
The exterior lines maintain the characteristic Perini equilibrium between power and composure. The ketch rig allows flexible sail configurations across a wide range of wind conditions, enabling stable passages and controlled manoeuvring with a reduced crew.
Broad deck areas favour movement and observation rather than exhibition, reinforcing the concept of a sailing yacht intended to be experienced underway rather than merely inhabited at anchor.
