SY PIROPO – 56 m KETCH (2008)
Mediterranean summers
Launched in 2008 as S/Y Silvana and later renamed Piropo, this 56-metre ketch represents one of the most accomplished expressions of Perini Navi’s iconic 56m series. With her 46.7-metre waterline, beam of 11.5 metres and aluminium construction, she combines ocean-going strength with refined proportions. At full load her displacement exceeds 540 tonnes, yet under sail she moves with elegance, carrying over 1,500 square metres of canvas on masts rising 58 and 48 metres above the sea. Piropo remains a yacht conceived for long passages, Mediterranean summers, and the timeless rhythm of sailing life.
DESIGN IDENTITY
Elegance in motion
Her interiors, drawn by Perini Navi, are designed as a luminous residence afloat. A full-beam owner’s suite and five guest cabins provide accommodation for up to twelve guests, arranged with refined discretion and enveloped in natural light. The main saloon, spread across more than 100 square metres, favours fluid circulation and panoramic views through wide windows. Teak decks extend into convivial spaces: an expansive aft cockpit and generous foredeck invite al fresco living, while the geometry of the ketch rig ensures balanced sail handling and effortless command. Every element of Piropo reflects the Perini Navi philosophy of merging lifestyle with performance.
