PASSION. PIROPO. PERFECTION.
When the owner of the fourth yacht in the 46-metre series briefly found himself in hospital, discussions for the purchase were already underway. His enthusiasm for the project was undiminished. Upon leaving, he insisted on signing the contract and bringing Piropo to Spain without delay. In his own words, “Un piropo in Spanish is a sweet word spoken to a beautiful woman — just like a Perini Navi.”
Delivered in 1991 by Perini Navi and now known as Tamarita, she carried both conviction and poetry from the very beginning.
DESIGN IDENTITY
Balanced Grandeur
Measuring 46.5 metres overall with a 9.2-metre beam and 302 GT, Tamarita reflects the architectural clarity of the early Perini 46M series. Built in steel with an aluminium superstructure, she combines structural strength with refined sailing balance.
Her clean exterior lines and elegant reverse stern define the yard’s formative aesthetic. Inside, generous volumes accommodate up to nineteen guests, with interiors conceived in-house to express proportion, material continuity and spatial coherence, creating a unified residence at sea.
Innovative Highlights
Part of the 46-metre lineage, Tamarita benefits from Perini’s integrated sail-handling philosophy, ensuring composed management at scale. Twin MTU engines provide auxiliary power with a cruising speed of 10 knots and 41,000 litres of fuel capacity for extended passages.
Her 7.02-metre draught enhances offshore stability, while expansive deck areas encourage outdoor living. Accommodation for eight crew supports efficient operation aligned with guest comfort.
