S/Y Andromeda La Dea è la seconda Perini Navi costruita per Thomas J. Perkins, figura leggendaria nel mondo dello yachting. Il progetto partiva dalla serie dei 46 metri, ma fu aumentato di un metro per esaltare la bellezza della linea di poppa.
Andromeda La Dea ha navigato in tutti i mari e tutte le latitudini del mondo, Oriente e Occidente, Nord e Sud completando per ben tre volte il giro del mondo con tre diversi proprietari. Il suo scafo blu con sovrastruttura color argento e i classici interni sono stati l’ambasciatore dello stile Perini Navi nel mondo per tutti gli anni Novanta.
Le sue avventure, incluso la traversata del nord Atlantico durante la Tempesta Perfetta, sono diventate protagoniste di un famoso libro e film di Hollywood.
