Prima unità delle serie dei 52 metri in acciaio, SY Xasteria fu commissionata da un armatore di grande esperienza e competenza. Alcune specifiche furono introdotte nel progetto su sua specifica richiesta. Il layout della coperta mostra due sedute scavate di lato alla sovrastruttura su ciascun bordo.
Gli interni che ottennero grande successo e molti riconoscimenti sono stati disegnati dagli armatori in persona che hanno collaborato col team Perini Navi in ogni fase.
